I am an entrepreneur, philanthropist and business impact leader deeply committed to transforming industries and uplifting communities across Africa.

My journey began with a passion for recognizing opportunities where others see challenges and this has driven me to build a diverse portfolio that spans automotive, hospitality, real estate and investment.

​

Starting from humble beginnings, I’ve always believed in the power of strategic foresight and relentless drive. These principles have guided me in establishing successful ventures like Lionshare, a multifaceted investment company that has become a cornerstone in various sectors.

 

Over the years, that journey has included projects and businesses such as the Reef Hotel, Lionshare Auto Group(Mozambique & South Africa) and Sand River Resort. I am also the founder of the South African Chamber of Business in Mozambique and SADC Energy. More recently, I entered into a partnership with Tinna Rubber that led to the formation of Mbodla Tinna SA.

One of the proudest moments in my journey came in 2020, when I won the Ignite category of the EY World Entrepreneur Award Southern Africa. It was a meaningful recognition of the businesses we have built and the people who have helped bring that vision to life.

But my work isn’t just about business; it’s about making a difference. Through the One Moment Foundation and the Ike Cha Foundation, I’m dedicated to tackling hunger, fighting poverty and empowering the next generation of African entrepreneurs. I believe that true success isn’t just measured by financial gain, but by the positive impact we can have on society.

My academic journey took me through the University of Cape Town and Thames Valley University, where I studied Industrial Psychology and Business Administration. These experiences, along with my time at global giants like The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble, have shaped my approach to leadership and growth.

Today, I’m driven by a mission to create value, inspire change and build a legacy that transcends generations. My journey is ongoing and I’m excited to continue innovating, investing and inspiring as I shape the future of business and philanthropy in Africa.
